Welcome to the Cottekill Volunteer Fire Company’s Virtual Open House!

CVFC was established in 1932, with 30 members. It had earlier ties with the hamlet of Binnewater in the late 20s. Since the 70s, membership has fluctuated with active first responders never reaching past 25. In the early 2000s, we reach an all time low of only 7 members and currently we have 17. We do have a support staff known as our social members who help with maintaining the firehouse, fundraising, public engagements, and bringing refreshments to fire scenes. That group currently has 8 members.
CVFC NEEDs more members of this wonderful community to join and support this organization. Without your support, your firehouse could close like two others already have in the town of Marbletown. Help keep your firehouse open! Help your neighbors in time of need, as your neighbors help you when you are!
Come take a look at what’s happening at your firehouse!
