Erik joined in 2015 with his best friend. He started off as a scene support, exterior firefighter, eventually working his way to an interior firefighter and then an apparatus driver. In 2025 he was appointed to the position of Lieutenant. 

Erik is what is known as a legacy firefighter. His aunt and his late grandfather were members. In fact his grandfather was chief in the early to mid 80’s. Living in the family house as a child, Erik loved listening to the Plectron (a home alert radio for volunteer firefighters). Now he gets to go to the calls he hears.
