Brad Fiore

Position: Engineer (Apparatus Driver/Operator) / Past Chief 2000-2025
A firefighter in uniform with a helmet, against a fiery background with glowing orange bokeh lights.

Brad joined in 1986 and was riding his father’s coat tails even before that. As a kid he was fascinated with fire trucks— even had his own Tonka & Matchbox fire departments. He watched Emergency, even had the lunch box in kindergarten. Still has it today sitting on a bookshelf. Outside of being a volunteer firefighter, he is a 9-1-1 Dispatch Supervisor for Ulster County and amateur photographer.

"Being a member of CVFC developed my leadership abilities. I have been a fire officer since 1989 and a chief officer from 1996 through the end of 2024. At UC911, prior to an official promotion to supervisor, I had been an acting supervisor since 2006. Before 911 I was a manager for an offset printing and photocopy shop. I owe all of this to my time in the volunteer fire service." - Past Chief Brad Fiore
